During the early morning hours of Sunday March 9th of this year patrons from a Tibetan New Years celebration were leaving the Tibetan Cultural Centre on Titan Rd. As the patrons left, several fights broke out and some patrons intervened in an effort to break up the fights. As a result of the intervention, one male was stabbed in the stomach but he survived his wounds. A young offender was later arrested for this offence. Another male, Tenzin TSETAN, who is also known as Apateu, was fatally stabbed in the chest during the altercation. This male was found on the sidewalk east of the Tibetan Centre. The Toronto Police Homicide Squad is looking for further witnesses from this event, and in particular, anyone who saw Tenzin TSETAN, also known as Apateu, outside the Cultural Centre on the night in question.
