During the early morning hours of Thursday, September 25, 2014, officers of the Lima Police Department smelled the odor of raw marijuana in the 800 block of Oak Street. The officers followed the odor to 817 Oak Street. Members of the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force were contacted and a search warrant was obtained. No one lived in the house but there was a sizable marijuana grow inside. There were 51 marijuana plants which weighed approximately 7 kilograms or 15 pounds. The investigation showed Dushun Adams (40-years-old) was cultivating the marijuana at 817 Oak Street. He was subsequently arrested for cultivating marijuana a third degree felony. This case will be forwarded to an Allen County Grand Jury.
