During the early part of the last century, there were 155 row-house synagogues in South Philly, dotting the narrow streets. Now there is only one known as "The Little Shul." It is suddenly in the limelight, receiving more attention than it has seen in decades, and possibly in its entire history. That’s because Hidden City, a group that runs a festival highlighting unusual spaces in Philadelphia, has made it a featured place.
