I have heard many people remark in recent times that they have never seen our area roads in such bad repair. We definitely do not need to see road and bridge projects grind to a halt halfway through the construction season due to political gridlock in Washington. The impact will be enormous on our regional economy as well as our road infrastructure if this situation is not remedied.
