During the kids extracurricular activities time this one little black boy says, Vic read my rap. I read it and it was filled with profanity. I told him the best raps start off as poems. Then explained what a simile and a metaphor was & challenged him & his buddy to write a poem without profanity. I watched them vehemently write lines in their notebooks. Every two lines asking me to read awaiting my approval. Dont give up on our black boys.
