During the last session of the parliament, I discussed the problems faced by students living in lodges of Delhi. I told that after the Supreme Court’s instructions and guidelines, the lodge mafia’s are still taking the arbitrary rent charges from the students. In the same room many students are living. Because of that they are unable to study properly and even can’t live a proper life. Lodge owners use the police to collect forcible rents. Large number of students from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Northeaster states come to Delhi for their higher studies, but here they have to face many problems. We urge to the government to take strict actions against the lodge mafia’s to stop the exploitation of the students.
