During this busy sometimes chaotic time during the holidays, try - TopicsExpress

During this busy sometimes chaotic time during the holidays, try to add this practice into your life for a more enjoyable, blessed holiday season. As we get closer to the holidays people begin to over indulge in rich food and spirits. Try to step back and look at it a different way. Instead of already having your hand on speed dial to the gym & weigh watchers & set on your calendar for January 2nd, stop and think of the indulgences through to holidays a little different. As you go to parties and events where food and spirits will be plentiful, or as you are preparing food, take a moment to bless and really embrace your food/drink as you prepare & consume it. Even consciously stop and breath in and give thanks before taking the first bite/drink or when preparing it. Take it in with a grateful heart! Dont take it in with guilt, remorse, or with a future plan to deal with it the potential ramifications. Really feel the texture and flavor and the joy in the act of breaking bread & consuming it in the spirit of the holiday! Love, honor, bless, & embrace your food this holiday season & see what happens. I think you will see when suffering and guilt & fear are taken out of the equation, there will be peace and likely no negative outcome with your health/weight etc. bless your food. Thanks be to God.
