During this difficult time for my family, friends and our county I will seldom address this situation. I would take this time to address and clear up some lies and misinformation. First and foremost you know how disappointed in our local prosecutor and this investigation and the attorney general proved he lacks the integrity to conduct an investigation when he referred to two wonderful, supportive people that did not deserved to mentioned in this unfounded investigation and indictment. Dewine, if he has any integrity will issue a public apology to Pearl Graham and McKee Salvage, Dewine fabricated this enterprise charge and damaged public residents. Shame in you! Secondly. It is widely known that I am a Christian and I will not bring dishonor before my Lord. Please Dont argue with the haters, they know nothing else The media will beat this to death as they do any high profile case, but remember they are trying to sell papers. I am ok with that. To the elected officials sounding off , just shut up! You may find yourself right in the middle of this political mess. Twenty five counts sounds terrible. One sounds terrible when your the sheriff. All will be ok. I have the truth on my side. Pk Look at like pancakes. You can stack them as high as you wish. Unfortunately, this investigation and indictment will expose many areas, people and sadly some to danger. I have a sworn duty to protect information given me and more importantly to protect lives. I have allowed everyone to express their feelings, be it loving to hatred regarding this situation. It will be a long, drawn out process and there will be much said and many rumors with varying opinions. The old saying is you can indict a ham sandwich. Then you must go to court and prove it is a ham sandwich. The main thing to focus on during this time is making Athens County a Safer, more enjoyable place to work, live, play and to raise our families. That is what I have always been committed to.
