Dust has settled on the second Dh Ffest, another great event by all the Antur Stiniog Cyf team, thanks to all the staff on site, from the drivers to the cafe posse. Thanks to the marshals who had to brave some testing weather Saturday afternoon, Mij Events for flawless timing, Adrian Walls for making sure it ran like clockwork with Simon James. A massive thank you to all the sponsors for their support, Martin Astley at hotlines for 2 categories, and a jump bike frame for the fastest non elite time of the day, Rob Scullion for Kaiser Projects for another 2 cats, Tom Willis at Dainese, Ian Walker at Rockguardz, Barry Marples at Purple Moose Brewery, and Oily dan bleed kits for sponsoring the fastest time of the day along with Antur Stiniog and it was big Matt Simmonds who smashed an amazing 2.48 on his second run to take the £200! Good results for the Antur Stiniog / 1868 Racing squad with James Hughes second, and Owain James third in Elite and Iwan Rhys Griffiths destroying the senior field again....well done boys! Good to see such a good turnout on the hill to support the event, and to the riders who took part....except the ones in the top right of the car park who left rubbish for us to clear....you know who you are!
