Dustin is my love and my best friend. Hes a really wonderful guy with a very big heart. He loves to write, watch wrestling, and his favorite wrestler goes by the name Sting. Sting, apparently, is no longer with TNA (the organization he was with for many years). It would be a dream come true for Dustin to be able to meet Sting. The trouble is, we dont know how to get a hold of him. He has appeared at a few events recently, but Dustin was unable to attend. Its very difficult for Dustin to be able to get out and physically go places because of a progressive genetic condition known as Familial Dyautonomia, or, FD for short. It makes it so that his autonomic nervous system (the system that controls all functions in the body that would typically be involuntary) does not work. As a result of this, his temperature and blood pressure arent properly regulated. His blood pressure can go from normal to very low or very high just like that. He has medication to help minimize these changes in blood pressure, but it doesnt always work. His vision is not what it once was, as his eyes dont really produce tears, which has caused scarring of the eyes over the years. Hes had a lot of surgeries, procedures, and aspiration pneumonias. He used to be able to eat-he can no longer eat by mouth. He has to be fed via a gastric tube. Hes lost muscle strength, hes lost weight, and were trying to make these things better. In the meantime, Dustins not able to do very much, even at home. Hes really going through a terribly tough time. There are a number of things he would love to achieve in his life, but one really big thing is to meet his idol the wrestler, Sting, a.k.a., Steve Borden.
