Dustin update: Sorry all I know it has been a while since my last update...Dustin continues to enjoy eating by mouth ...he enjoys yogurt, pudding, mashed potatoes & even had some tuna salad the other day! He continues to have sensation & movement on his affected side I have even noted right arm movement at times...I am continued to be amazed at how relaxed his spasticity (tight muscle tone) is now I have even discussed with his pump management nurse turning his baclofen pump dose down this in itself is a huge improvement! With Dustins inmobility he is very prone to sickness more than others however in the last few weeks I was very sick with an upper respiratory infection & his brother with the flu and Dustin has remained healthy as can be !! Plexus is not meant to cure treat or prevent any disease however as a nurse and a caregiver for Dustin for almost 10 years it is my personal testimony that since starting nerve health support in June we have seen the following 1) decrease in severe muscle spasticity 2) sensation & active movement on his affected side 3) increase in swallowing (doctor says probably because the muscle tightness in his neck is more relaxed) 4) weight gain (because his body is not expending all the calories with his spasticity 5) increase alertness & eye movement 6)Staying healthy (immune system improved) . I also give Dustin the probio5 , biocleanse & xfactor to boost his immune system. Individual results may vary but all I can say is I am so blessed & excited for the changes I have seen in my son!
