Dutch support towards sustainable water access in Likoni, Mombasa Last week deputy ambassador Marielle Geraedts visited Mombasa to launch the extension of the Mombasa water company pipelines into the Likoni neighbourhood, together with County Executive for Water Fatma Awale and MP Mishi Mboko. With support of the embassy, the Dutch company Vitens Evides supports the Mombasa water company to reduce non –revenue water (water that is lost physically or is not being paid for) and to invest in the pipeline network so more people will get access to tap water, especially in low income areas of Mombasa. WB will join soon join this partnership to further increase investments.
