Duty Manager Vacancy - Hemel Hempstead (39hrs) Empire Cinemas strives to provide the best cinema experience through a team who are passionate about film and committed to delivering a total quality entertainment experience for all our customers. The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic; motivated self-starter who is eager to grow their management experience within a face-paced leisure environment. As an Operations Assistant, youll be helping the General Manager to grow the team and the customer base. Working in a cinema is great fun but requires a professional, flexible and adaptable outlook in order to manage a wide range of challenges and enhance our customers sense of escape. You must have at least 1 year experience supervising or leading a team in a customer facing environment and a natural ability to build rapport with customers. As well as managing and driving sales and performance; experience of managing volume and large teams would also benefit. You will need the drive to get your sleeves rolled up and have a hands on presence managing the day to day running of the cinema whilst maintaining a commercial and strategic focus. The ideal applicant would be available work full time, five out of seven days during week for a mixture of shifts including evenings and weekends.
