Duàs we make and get heedless because we think it was not answered. Last night, I had to meet my friend who came from Jeddah and I couldnt take my Dads car so I thought I will rent one. As a regular customer I went to the same rent a car shop and he said rules have been changed in his office and I will have to keep a deposit to rent the car. I cancelled and took a cab and met my friend. I came back home to see the newsfeed full of updates with roads flooded and major highways blocked. SubhanAllah this is how Allah averts us from the unforeseen calamities which we no not of. I couldve rented the car and maybe got stuck in the flood and the car couldve got seriously damaged and would have lost a big amount of payback to the rented car. One of the ways our duàs get answered is Allah keeps it to save you from calamities we dont know about. Complaining or to stop making duà is only a harm upon yourself. Lift your hands with certainty that Allah answers you but in ways He want to, at the right time for the right thing you deserve. Do not complain to Allah how He did not answer your duà immediately rather thank Allah how He doesnt punishes us immediately when we commit a sin. All praise is to Allah! We sin as if He cannot see but He forgives as if He didnt see
