Dylan has been hard at work on a new jail cell, now located in the small structure near the front gate. The old one has been torn down as unsafe and inhumane. Now, instead of being tucked away behind the tavern, prisoners have a (barred) window on the main street and can beseech passersby, rant and rave, or at least watch the comings and goings of the Keep. Imprisonment isnt usually a punishment in Mystwood - its just a way of warehousing the accused and the awkward until a magistrate is available for Trial. Since the guard takes no particular responsibility for feeding prisoners, and indeed, they are often away for days at a time, prisoners have to live on whatever they can beg, buy, or prevail upon their families to bring them. Indeed, some have been known to offer their crafting skills from behind bars to make ends meet. Well be adding a Prisoner role to the town spirit gate.
