Dynamic Airways restart delayed Looks like Dynamic Airways will definitely not be back for the important summer travel period in the North at least not from the JFK airport to Georgetown. The airline temporarily suspended its JFK – GEO service until Friday of this week August 8th, after a bundle of problems emerged following its inaugural flight a few weeks ago. Now based on what its own website and Dynamic Airways insiders are saying it may be as late as November 7th before the Airline finds its way back in the air to and from Guyana. Passengers, when they called the US operations, were informed that due to contract negotiations all flights from August 8th to November this year have been cancelled. However Dynamic Airways insiders say that it has to do with getting the compatible software to work at the JFK airport in NY. Dynamic is hoping that it could still restart service in early September but right now the first flight is scheduled out of Guyana on November 7th. In the meantime, some passengers have complained that they have had to do the calling to get their refunds from the fledgling airline. Head of Roraima Airways in Guyana Capt. Gerry Gouviea who has been working with the airline will meet with Dynamic officials in the US on Friday in North Carolina. He said he will be in a better position then, to know for sure when the real restart date will be. The company is continuing to operate its regular business charters to other parts of the world. Gouviea said that some twenty five (25) Guyanese flight attendants are just about completing their training in North Carolina. They have been in training for the past three (3) weeks as the first batch to work on the GEO-JFK route. Dynamic which claimed it was in the Guyana market to stay apologized for the inconvenience that the suspended service caused. Several airlines operating as charters or scheduled services have come and left the Guyana market over the years. Only one airline has operated the Guyana North America route uninterrupted with just some rebranding for over sixty years. youtube/watch?v=4vtw50K8C0s
