Work harder! I.......f**king am, u retard! & whos the one with the diagnosis? But like my dyslexic tutor said, people just wont understand. Fellow class mates, nor lecturers. But its taken me many years of continuously delving deeper into a tradition-like Buddhism to make me understand how to be patient with other people - just dont have expectations from people nor society. Do whatever I can. But, theres a huge but: sensory/mind-body connection/neuro-motor-plasticity. Heres 2 hints: - meditation instructor expressed that those who practiced martial arts where more able/quicker to attain that level of connection/emptiness. - Bodhidharma, the patriarch founder of Chan Buddhism (Zen, Japan), arrived at the Shaolin temple from Indian, saw how bodily weak the monks were whilst sitting in long meditation. He tried to teach them Yoga, but they didnt get it. Then he observe nature and saw 5 animals, taught them through martial arts insteads. Me thinks theres a huge missing gap with modern meditation practitioner, when something like Yoga is eradicated, rendering meditation/cultivation not as effective. Yin aspects & Yang aspects; pre-natal & post-natal; pre-heaven & post-heaven: - discover what went missing in our early stages of development, re-wire, repeat repeat repeat, - that level of super-mental-faculty (as I like to call it) might be more realised. Some of us might be world changers more than we realise. In speaking with friends who are on the spectrum, I foresee why some of us have the capacity to see things with such clarity, the rest are left so far behind, were made to feel ridiculous. As the sensei & senior practitioner of YSB taught me, humbleness! One day, well be surrounded by those that understand. Be patient. Dont forget to sing & dance along the way
