E-NUGGETS: The irretractible WORD of God There is a word spoken over your life specifically by God! That word is set in eternity and designed to get you accomplished. It is a word bigger than what you hear from Church or friends. It is Gods word released into your future even before you were formed! With the same token, there are equally more positive passages and prophetic declarations in the bible. But for them to work for you, you have to be in Gods will and live by the principles of His world. Part of praying Amiss is praying outside of Gods will. (Jame 4:3) However long its going to take to manifest is dependent on His timing and us. Isaiah 40:8 says The grass may wither and the flowers may fall, but the word of your God over your life shall stand forever. Yes His word over you is not retractible - It is as good as when He spoke it before your inception. God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfil? (Numbers 23:19) God said For as the rain and snow come down from the heavens, and return not there again, but water the earth and make it bring forth and sprout, that it may give seed to the sower and bread to the eater, So shall My word be that goes forth out of My mouth: it shall not return to Me void [without producing any effect, useless], but it shall accomplish that which I please and purpose, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:10-11) The words of God is certain to accomplish, but three things are worth noting from verse 11 of the passage of the scripture above: 1. Gods word will always fulfil its mandate and will never be unproductive! 2. It will always accomplish and fulfil the purpose for which it was sent! 3. It will only prosper the recipient only in the things it was sent! The third part of this scripture got me thinking... So Gods words will not work outside the purpose for which it is sent. Neither can any man prosper whilst trying to make this work or apply His word for what God had not intended it for! No amount of Philippians 4:13 (I can do all things...) would work if we are not living and working according to Gods spoken words. For God would only strengthen us when we are walking in obedience, and His grace would only fully function within the jurisdiction of His spoken words. I submit to you that God knew of your end even before you began. Guess what? Your end is good, it is secured! However troubled turbulent and troublesome the storms around you has been, be rest assured that Gods words is powerful enough to deliver you. Isaiah 46:10 says I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say: My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. May Gods purpose for His spoken word stand and be fulfilled in your life however trying your situation is right now. I pray that you will have the courage and patience to live out His words and prosper in the things you are mandated to do. Amen!
