She has also frequented Carolines, The Improv, Comedy Store and Laff Factory. Brandon T. Jackson Thursday January 30, 2014 to Sunday February 2, 2014 Brandon T. Jackson burst onto the comedy scene with performances at the famed Showtime at the Apollo and BETs Comic View. From there, Jackson and BET launched the Teens of Comedy Tour, showcasing the nations funniest teen comedians. He also hosted the Up Close and Personal Tour, featuring Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Lil Wayne and later went on to host his own sketch comedy special, The Brandon T. Jackson Show, on The N Channel. Soon after, Jackson became a series regular on Nick Cannons MTV sketch comedy show, Wild N Out. One of his earlier roles as Alpha Chino in the 2008 comedy Tropic Thunder, earned Jackson a Best Supporting Actor nomination from the Black Reel Awards and Daily Variety named him one of 10 Comics to Watch. Jackson also won Black Reels 2006 Best Breakthrough Performance award for his part in Roll Bounce. His most recent film credits include Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son (2011), Thunderstruck (2012), Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters 3D (2013).
