E-Rikshaw has been the latest scapegoat in policy circles thanks to populist measures taken by the government. In the absence of the clear cut policy; the existence of Electrically powered rikshaws is under fire. CPPR through this presentation aims to give an overview of the current situation and mentions the need for a concrete policy which will enable the integration of this innovative and friendly system into urban/rural transport network.
