E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Movie Review: 9.5/10 Quite simply one of if not the the greatest sci-fi adventures of all time this movie is an absolutely remarkable work of brilliant cinema that is one of the most exciting, thrilling, fun, touching, enduring and emotionally rewarding experiences ever that is a top to bottom masterpiece. At the top of his game Steven Spielberg creates this unbelievably timeless classic with enormous amounts of heart, soul and artistic genius that every frame is full to the max of awe inspiring wonder and iconic imagery that sparks everyones imagination in the most enjoyably stunning ways. The young cast including Henry Thomas, Robert MacNaughton and Drew Barrymore are beyond perfect in their fantastic roles that not only immediately captivate you in the drama but also are able to hit on the rawest levels of emotion that literally make fall in love with them over and over again. John Williams creates arguably his most amazing musical score that completely catapults the entire movie to another level of jaw dropping spectacle with a masterful collection of mysterious, suspenseful, tear jerking and uplifting musical notes that flawlessly blend together in the most triumphantly amazing ways. This is why movies were created in the first place as this perfected masterwork takes you on a journey of pure cinematic magic that inspires the inner child in all of us in ways that has never been able to be topped and will continue to do so as this tremendous story will forever be truly unforgettable.
