Hiki-te-tapu Haunui is preparing for the Battle In The Waikato which takes place on Feb 28 in Hamilton. He’ll be defending his NZ WKA (Works Kickboxing Association) title as the current holder of the 8-man King Country and the IKBF light heavyweight titles. Hiki-te-tapu says, The skills of a warrior is something past down from our ancestors when they prepared for war, so getting the head right, the body conditioned and the inner spirit prepared isnt new to Māori.
