E3 2014 Nintendo: Overall I was pretty happy with this. The interstitials were weird and ridiculous. I would expect nothing less of Nintendo. - Super Smash Brothers shown to allow Miis to fight each other. Youll be able to choose between 3 attack styles and then choose special moves from there to customize the characters. A version for 3DS was announced. youtu.be/x1K-WqQYw7w - Amiibo will allow the summoning of characters into Smash Brothers and later into other games. They showed a hand full of figures, like Mario, Donkey Kong, Samus, and the Wii Fit Trainer. youtu.be/odUjMhc6YgU - Yoshis Wooly World announced. Looks like Yoshis Island in the style of Kirbys Epic Yarn. Time limit is being removed and co-op is being added. This game looks beautiful, but I personally dislike the targeting system used in Yoshis Island and here according the video just seen. youtu.be/aCywGsJ2iZY - Captain Toad Treasure Tracker was a really pleasant surprise. It looks to be the puzzle games from Super Mario 3D World expanded out. Which is awesome. Those were some of the best parts of 3D World. youtu.be/m91qkP5ZaN8 - New Legend of Zelda announced. Unfortunately we dont have a name yet. There will be less linearity in this game. Rumor is that itll work a lot like Link Between Worlds where you rent the gear and can do the dungeons however you want. The art style looks amazing. Its one of my favorite looking games that thats been shown, almost like a grown up Windwaker. There will be a Bayonetta pack that includes both 1 and 2. The bundle looks to include iconic Nintendo character costumes for Bayonetta to wear as well. youtu.be/DvP4EFjagfU - Hyrule Warrior will allow you to play as other Zelda characters, like Midna and Zelda. Id really recommend watching the trailer as nothing I can type briefly really can explain whats going on. Well have to wait and see what the games look like on the floor, but I feel a better about the state of the Wii U after watching this. -
