EAG Basic Carbine Course 11-12 May 2015 OPEN Enrollment Boone County Sheriff’s Department, Lebanon IN $450 This class will immediately precede a Carbine Operators Course at the same location. There is a discount for those attending both classes. EAG has Bravo Company 5.56mm and S&W .22LR carbines available for loan. The Basic Carbine Course is a Two Day, Low to Moderate Intensity class with the emphasis on the basics of marksmanship and manipulation. At the end of this class you will have a good understanding of the functioning of the weapon, and how to safely and effectively employ it. Bring: •A good attitude •Serviceable 5.56x45mm or .22LR Carbine. An AR type is REQUIRED •You MUST have a Tactical Sling. Carry straps/Parade slings will not be permitted! •A minimum of three serviceable magazines. •The ability to carry two magazines on your body •Eyepro and Earpro •Baseball type hat •Clothing appropriate for the season •Kneepads and elbow pads are REQUIRED •A minimum of 750 rounds of serviceable Ball ammunition. We may shoot more or less, depending on class competence •Water / electrolyte replacement and food If you have questions, contact us directly for assistance!
