EARLY RESULT IN ANAMBRA GOV ELECTIONS Early election results so far declared show Chief Willie Maduabuchi Obiano ndi Igbo of APGA in the overwhelm comfortable lead. APGA has won so far in Onitsha South and North, Aguata, Nnewi South, Orumba North and South, Ekwusigo, Ayamelum , Ogbaru and Ihiala while counting is going on in most of the wards and polling booths. There are indications that APGA is leading in Anambra North as counting is still going on in places like Oyi, Anambra East/West, Ogbunike, Nsugbe, some part of Aguleri, Nteje, Awkuzu, Nando, Igbarim etc. APGA is leading in Anambra West. However, voting did not commence early in Idemile North and South. INEC has extended the time for voting at Idemile North and South. As you may have heard APC strong man and chief strategist Malam El-Rufia was restricted to his hotel room at Awka for his personal security as he has no business to be in the state. He is not part of APC National Campaign Committee. People are asking question about his motive in Anambra State and given the arrest of APC supporters with thump printed ballots papers and INEC election materials. APGA candidate, Chief Obiano is following the news of the election as they trickle in from ward to ward with happiness and expectation. For the people of Aguleri, all bear parlours are filled with people declaring drinks and hugging each other for the prospect of Anambra North producing the first elected governor of Anambra State. Be that as it may, the INEC Returning Officer for Eziagulu Otu and Enugu Otu Ward in Aguleri have abandoned their duty post when they realised that all votes cast are for APGA. They decided to abscond their duty post and drove off in company of PDP supporters. They have remained missing at the time of this posting. We suspect that they would declare a fake results as they did in 2011 general elections. Any result declared in that Ward is unacceptable. WE thank ndi Anambra for the love they have shown to Anambra North. Our promise still remains that Chief Willie Maduabuchi Obiano will do more than Gov Obi and will be the chief servant of ndi Anambra State.
