EARLY Sat Morning, Dec 20, 2014::: I am trying to compile a list of the people whose generosity allowed us to feed two families this past week, emergency situations both. I want to acknowledge everyone , and am going to start with this list:: Cheryl DunstanDenise Joyce Dainack, Tracy Kanyok ONeill Donna Dicostanzo-Gowan Glenn Clark Lilly Carbonaro Lillian Eden Keila Colon Marie E. Ng Art Riegal Anna Kitson Altbach Crystal Davis Barbi Neumann Marty John Picarello . ...... I know I do no thave the complete list here, just got home from a week with my nephew Keith Restrepo and his family, scrambled brain as usual !! I PROMISE I will get it together and figure out the rest ! Please forgive me if I ahve left you our, you are all so important to the operation of this effort to help our friends and neighbors here in Sullivan County ! Our new Admin, Cathy Cardoso-Osborn absolutely took the bull by the horns on this need and did a fantastic job facilitating all of it ! People like Cathy, Barbi and several others are the next generation of , well, of ME !! It warms my heart so see young women starting a life of philanthropy and kindness. GREAT JOB GIRLS !! John Drobysh and I will be collecting the rest of the donation from Gloria Bernstein in Woodridge this morning as well as picking up stationary bike from Carolyn Crespo and Wendy Sipos. After I posted for the bike, I got several other requests for the same thing, people who , for health reasons can benefit from a bike of this oft and for financial reasons, cannot afford one, SO I am going to accept several bikes from willing donors and distribute them to the people who asked me. I am not going into the fitness business here friends, so dont ask if you have not already done so !! PS:: Thank you Mary Ann Drobysh-Berens for the use of your truck, probably the most important part of this undertaking ! Without it, we could not get the job done and we appreciate your generosity !! Oh yeah we do ! AND, a little TIP or WARNING to those out there who would take advantage of some organizations who have collected toys for kids and are distributing them to local families:: If you have signed up for toys at one event, DO NOT attempt to get more from the other events !! There is enough to go around if you are not greedy, and this year, the organizations got savvy and are cross referencing their lists, so if you attempt to do this, you will be blacklisted by ALL the groups and get nothing ! COME ON GUYS !! Do the right thing here !! Have a safe and fun weekend ! Time for me to get moving and start the day!
