EARLY WINTER SKY birds whorled up in a moments chaos birds loosed, roil , birds flying playing the sky , air holds stilled birds scattered about and perfect as heavenly placement the thrown confetti a drama , a stream a stirred cluster shifting , parting , joining with ineffable purpose , mysterious instinct lifted at once turned down suddenly like a river rapid boils over end end sent out , out to return together inquisitive magnetic swirling like a shifting crowd of people on a city street who look up at birds in surrender as if a galaxy is blown by God breath and so above us all are the migrating stars attracting little bird hearts to communion with the hearts of men as they find each other and travel celestial Heres a little poetry for my literary friends on Sunday morning ......
