EARTH TO SPIKE LEE: ‘If Black Men are an Endangered Species, Then the Hunters Are Other Black Men!’ INNIS Answers Spike Lee: ‘If Black Men are an Endangered Species, Then the Hunter is Tragically Other Black Men!’ On Wednesday, leftist actor Spike Lee inserted himself into the mayhem occurring in Ferguson, Missouri, claiming on CNN that “there’s a war on the black male, and it’s tearing this country apart.” Civil rights activist and Executive Director of TheTeaParty.net, Niger Innis, appeared with guest host David Asman on Cavuto on Fox Business to discuss Obama Attorney General Eric Holder’s arrival into the powder keg of Ferguson, MO. Asman asked Innis what he thought Holder’s “overall purpose and mission in Ferguson” was. Innis replied that he believed the mission was political in nature, with the goal of providing cover for Obama’s failed record with the black community. “I suppose it’s somewhat damage control, in that the president, quite frankly, has been a miserable failure in reference to the black community,” Innis, former congressional candidate from Nevada told Asman. “Just look at the statistics. The amount of black wealth that’s been lost during this Obama economy. The black unemployment rates are much higher than the national average. He [Holder] sees an opportunity,” he asserted. In response to Spike Lee’s contention that there is a war against young black men, Innis said that under 100 black are killed per year by white cops, while multiple thousands of black men murder other black men. “If young black men are indeed an endangered species, then the hunter, unfortunately and tragically, are other young black men,” Innis affirmed.
