EARTHQUAKE WATCH --- In Effect For Next 96 Hours! We are in full scale earthquake watch mode for the next 96 hours (4 days) to cover the eclipse period of November 3rd, 2013. We are watching for earthquake measuring 7.0 magnitude or greater to strike earthquake sensitive areas on the Ring of Fire that cover the west coast of South, Central and North America going all the way up to Alaska, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, New Zealand, Southeastern Australia, Japan and Taiwan. The Middle East (Israel, Iraq, Iran) and the subcontinent (India, Pakistan, Turkey) are prone to earthquake activity at this time, but at smaller magnitudes: 6.0 - 7.0. With the path of the Partial Solar Eclipse of Sunday, November 3rd cutting across the Mid-Atlantic and much of Equatorial West, Central and East Africa, watch Lake Tanganyika region of Tanzania for quakes 5.0 to 6.0 magnitude to suggest a follow up quake of similar magnitude in Western Europe (UK, Spain, Germany, France) a few weeks later. Will the Caribbean and east coast region of North, Central and South America in the Atlantic Ocean be affected? We could see earthquakes occurring in these regions within the next 96 hours as well, but at smaller magnitudes measuring between 5.0 to 6.0. Areas to watch on the east coast of the U.S.A. for the next 96 hours are Morristown, New Jersey and Medusa, upstate New York, Virginia and Canada-USA border of New York State, not far from Niagara Falls. November 28th is a critical earthquake watch period. We are expecting strong earthquake activity triggered by Comet Ison at the end of November (November 25th - December 31st). The problem is that Ison will be around for some time leading into December and the Christmas holiday season. Well give you an update on Comet Ison later. For the time being, earthquake watch is in effect for earthquakes 7.0 magnitude and greater for the next 96 hours in earthquake sensitive areas on the Ring of Fire, which includes Southern California. If it shakes dont take it for granted, check it out. If in doubt, vacate first and ask questions later. Safety first, figure things out afterwards! Best, Antot Masuka
