EAST CHAPTER ALUMNI & FRIENDS EVENT: U.S. CAPITOL BUILDING AND CAPITOL VISITOR CENTER TOUR October 10, 2014 2:30 PM A special complimentary tour arranged ONLY for MSOE Alumni and their guest(s) for the Capitol and the Capitol Visitor Center. Gathering will be at the Capitol Visitor Center Entrance (see location map) at no later than 2:30. Our guide is generously doing this for us through Joe Sacco 71, so you must be on time or you will miss the tour. Access: Parking is extremely limited, highly suggest you take Metro to the Capitol South or Union Station stop. You can determine the walk by searching a map on the Internet. Entrance and where we will meet are at the CVC Entrance off of 1st St and Capitol South. You will see the sloped ramps down to the entrance off of 1st St. For the tour: Pictures are allowed (as our host will tell you ‘You can take all the pictures you want, just don’t take any off the walls’!). Kids are allowed also, but must be able to meet the 2:30 start time (no exceptions). We will meet after the tour at a nearby establishment for some refreshments. Join us!
