EAST SIDE : Afflictions, Fitnah, Dajjal will be from this direction ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 1. Sahih Bukhari ------------------- Volume 4, Book 56, Number 702: Narrated Abi Masud: The Prophet said, From this side from the east, afflictions will appear. Rudeness and lack of mercy are characteristics of the rural bedouins who are busy with their camels and cows (and pay no attention to religion). Such are the tribes of Rabia and Mudar. Volume 7, Book 63, Number 217: Ibn Umar I heard the Prophet saying, Afflictions will emerge from here, pointing towards the East. Volume 9, Book 88, Number 212: Salims father The Prophet stood up beside the pulpit (and pointed with his finger towards the East) and said, Afflictions are there! Afflictions are there, from where the side of the head of Satan comes out, or said, ..the side of the sun.. Volume 4, Book 54, Number 499: Narrated Abdullah bin Umar: I saw Allahs Apostle pointing towards the east saying, Lo! Afflictions will verily emerge hence; afflictions will verily emerge hence where the (side of the head of) Satan appears. Volume 9, Book 93, Number 651: Abu Said Al-Khudri The Prophet said, There will emerge from the East some people who will recite the Quran but it will not exceed their throats and who will go out of (renounce) the religion (Islam) as an arrow passes through the game, and they will never come back to it unless the arrow, comes back to the middle of the bow (by itself) (i.e., impossible). The people asked, What will their signs be? He said, Their sign will be the habit of shaving (of their beards). (Fateh Al-Bari, Page 322, Vol. 17th) Volume 7, Book 63, Number 223: Abu Masud The Prophet pointed with his hand towards Yemen and said twice, Faith is there, and then pointed towards the East, and said, Verily, sternness and mercilessness are the qualities of those who are busy with their camels and pay no attention to their religion, where the two sides of the head of Satan will appear, namely, the tribes of Rabla and Muqar. 2. Sahih Muslim ----------------------------- Book 001, Number 0095: It is reported on the authority of Jabir b. Abdullah that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and, blessings be upon him) observed: The callousness of heart and sternness is in the East and faith is among the people of the Hijaz. Book 007, Number 3187: Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: Dajjal will come from the eastern side with the intention of attacking Medina until he will get down behind Uhud. Then the angels will turn his face towards Syria and there he will perish. Book 041, Number 6940: Salim b. Abdullah reported on the authority of his father that Allahs Messenger (may peace be upon him) , while turning his face towards the east, said: The turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil would appear from this side; verily, the turmoil. would appear from this side-the side where appear the horns of Satan. ((And Eastern side from Makkah is Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh...Indonesia, up to China))
