EAST ZONE University VICE Chancellors CONFERENCE At Vinoba Bhave University at Hazaribag : The East Zone University Vice-Chancellors opens up here today tomorrow .This will go down in the history of Vinoba Bhave University as a red letter day.This is mainly a function of the Association of Indian Universities which has always been very kind and co-operative to Vinoba Bhave University. That is why I place here the photograph of Dr.Vinodiny Terway ,the founder Vice -Chancellor of this universities. The other five photographs bring the memory of the National Seminar on Gandhian Vision &Its Relevance In the20th Century organised by the Association Of Indian Universities on September 261995 in the campus of Jamia Hamidia at New Delhi.Iwas invited to present a paper and I was also requested to preside over the valedictory session in which Dr.B.R.Nanda was the chief speaker.We had. Erg cordial relations with Dr, K.BPowar who was the Secretary General of AIU then. I welcome the learned Vice Chancellors to Hazaribag and wish the conference every success .As regards the theme and matter of discussions I write another post.
