EASTERN EUROPE SEP 2013 DEPARTURE DAY 01 / SEP 16 MANILA / MUNICH Depart Manila on board a prestigious airline to Munich, Germany. Enjoy in flight meals and enter- tainment. DAY 02 / SEP 17 MUNICH (D) Welcome to Munich! After immigration clearance at the airport, proceed to the exit where our repre- sentative will meet and assist you. Dinner and check-in to your hotel. DAY 03 / SEP 18 MUNICH - SALZBURG (ABF,D) (2 hours drive) Start the day with a panoramic tour passing through the Olympic Stadium to the Nymphen- burg Palace, former residence of the Bavarian royalties, and take photos in the beautiful gar- dens. Then take a panoramic tour by coach pass- ing through the BMW Headquarters, Opera House and take a stroll along the ancient part of town and see the Hofbraeuhaus, the gothic City Hall with the Glockenspiel Clock, the colorful open - air market and Marienplatz. Then board your coach and drive to Salzburg, Austria, for dinner and check in. DAY 04 / SEP 19 SALZBURG – PRAGUE (ABF,D) (5 hours drive) After breakfast, drive to the beautiful Old Town visit the Mirabelle Gardens and see the house of Mozart. then cross the Czech border to Pra- gue, capital of the Czech Republic. Dinner and overnight. DAY 05 / SEP 20 PRAGUE (ABF,D) The walking tour of this beautiful city starts in the Prague Castle and see St. Vitus Cathedral, St. George Basilica, the Old Royal Palace, Golden Lane and to the Daliborka Tower. Then continue your walk crossing the St. Charles Bridge and visit the Church of Our Lady of Victorious to see the Sto. Nino De Praga. Afterwards, on to the Astronomical Clock in the Old Town where the tour ends. The rest of the day is free. DAY 06 / SEP 21 PRAGUE – DRESDEN (2 hours & 30 minutes drive) DRESDEN – BERLIN (ABF,D) (3 hours drive) After breakfast, travel to Germany to the city of Dresden and see Frauenkirche, Germany’s most important Protestant church before admiring the Procession of Dukes, a colossal mosaic on the Castle wall. Next door we see the cathedral and the tiered façade of the Semper Opera House – the only theatre in Germany that bears the name of its architect. View the Royal Palace – a castle built some 700 years ago and reconstructed as a museum. Continue to Berlin for dinner and over- night. DAY 07 / SEP 22 BERLIN (ABF,D) Sightseeing today includes a panoramic views of the Ku’damm, Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, Tiergardten, the Victory Column, Bellevue Palace, Congress Hall, Kanzleramt, Reichstag, Alexanderplatz, Unter Den Linden and stop for photos in the Checkpoint Charlie, the Brandeburg Gate and the remains of the famous Berlin Wall. Balance of the day is at lei- sure. DAY 08 / SEP 23 BERLIN – WARSAW (ABF,D) (7 hours & 30 minutes drive) Cross the Polish border to the capital, Warsaw. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel. Rest of the day is free. DAY 09 / SEP 24 WARSAW (ABF,D) Drive around the city to see many historical monu- ments such as the Palace of Culture, St. John Cathedral, a visit to the Gardens of Lazienski Palace and orientation of the Ghetto Memorial. Then walk the Royal Route to the Old Town. Rest of the day is at leisure. DAY 10 / SEP 25 WARSAW – CZESTOCHOWA (3 hours & 30 minutes drive) CZESTOCHOWA – AUSCHWITZ (1 hour & 30 minutes drive ) AUSCHWITZ – CRACOW (ABF,D) (1 hour drive) After breakfast, drive to Czestochowa to visit the Jasna Gora Monastery and see the Black Madonna, venerated as the “Queen of Poland”. Continue to Auschwitz to visit the Concentration Camp, a chilling reminder of the Holocaust. Then onto the historic Cracow. DAY 11 / SEP 26 CRACOW (ABF,D) Full - day sightseeing today starts with a drive to Lagiewniki to visit the Shrine of the Divine Mercy of Sister Faustina. Then continue to the city and walk along the famous Courtyard of the Jagiellonian University and the Old Town. Later, visit the famous Wieliczka Saltmines. Return to the city in time for dinner. DAY 12 / SEP 27 CRACOW – BRATISLAVA (ABF,D) (5 hours drive) Drive to Slovakia on your way to Bratislava for a walking tour of the Old Town and visit Michal Gate, Main Square, Old Town Hall, Primatial Palace, Reduta and the Cathedral of St. Martin. After the walking tour you will continue by coach and you will view from the coach the Presidential Palace, Bratislava Castle, the Slovak Govern- ment building and the Slavin Monument, the burial ground of thousands of Soviet Army sol- diers who fell during World War II. Later, dinner then check in to your hotel. DAY 13 / SEP 28 BRATISLAVA - BUDAPEST (2 Hours 30 Mins drive) (ABF,D) Travel over the Hungarian border on your way to the capital city of Budapest. Upon arrival, com- mence your sightseeing tour which features the Castle Hill, the Fisherman’s Bastion to enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the Parliament House, the 13th century Matthias Coronation Church, the Citadel of Mount Gellert and the Heroes Square. Afterwards, check in to your hotel. DAY 14 / SEP 29 BUDAPEST – VIENNA (ABF,D) (4 hours drive) After breakfast, drive to Austria on your way to Imperial Vienna. Upon arrival, proceed to a pano- ramic sightseeing tour which includes State Op- era House, Museum of Natural History & Con- temporary Arts, Belvedere Palace, Prater Amusement Park with its giant Ferris Wheel, and a visit to the magnificent Schoenbrunn Palace.
