EBOLA: Some thoughts: (1) With regard to protocols, what use are protocols if the people don’t follow them? In 1969, the astronauts of the first few Apollo flights were quarantined for 3 weeks (21 days) after their flights. Mandatory quarantine needs to be implemented. (2) Select a military base as the sole location where all Ebola patients are transferred to and treated. Train military doctors and corpsmen to deal with the disease. The personal can be ordered to be quarantined and stay on the base until the incubation period is over.
