EBONYI 2015 PDP CAMPAIGN FLAG OFF @ IKWO: THE GATHERING OF THE POLITICAL GENERALS, THEIR LIEUTENANTS, FOOT SOLDIERS AND CIVILIANS What I saw today in Ikwo was the gathering of the Ebonyi political generals, their lieutenants, the foot soldiers and the civilians. Apart from the governor, who was expectedly not present, every other person needed to win an election in every Local Government Area in the state was at the rally. The attendance was unprecedented, marvellous, and never anything like it in the entire state outside Abakaliki. The political generals present included but were not limited to His Excellency, Engr. (Chief) Dave Umahi, Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State and the PDP Gubernatorial Flag Bearer, His Excellency, Dr Sam Egwu, former governor of the State, His Excellency, Prof Chigozie Ogbu, former deputy governor of the State, Chief Onwe Joseph Onwe, Ag. State PDP Chairman, Engr Fidelis Mbam, Director-General of the Divine Mandate Campaign Organization, Amb. Frank Ogbuewu, Engr. Elias Mbam, Barr. Okeagu Ogada, Senator Emmanuel Onwe, Chief Njoku Afoke, Senator Nguji Ngele, Senator Azu Agboti, Senator Sonni Ogbuoji, Hon. (Chief) Innocent Ugo Chima, former House of Reps member, Barr Augustine Nwankwegu, former Speaker, Dr Igwe Ajanwachuku, Hon. (Chief) Ugoji Ama-Oti, Chief G. O. Chukwu, Chief Hyacinth Ikpor, Hon. (Chief) Michael Ude Umanta, Chief J. O. J. Oketah, Chief Fred Udeogu, Chief (Hon) Bonny Ofoke, Chief F.E. Igwe, Prof. Ozo Nweke Ozo, Dr. Alvin A. U. Enyi, Prof. Isaac O. Abara, Chief (Barr) Felix Mgbada, Chief Dave Nwachukwu, Senator Emmanuel Onwe, Ochiri Julius Ama Orji, Chief Goddy Ogbaga, Chief Ifeanyi Eleje, Osu Sylvester Oduko, Chief Livinus Ilang, Dr Nora Aloh, Chief Obinna Ogba, Chief (Mrs) Frances Mgbada, Chief Moses Ogodoali Nomeh, all the PDP candidates for the Senate, House of Representatives and Ebonyi State House of Assembly, etc. His Excellency, Engr. (Chief) Dave Umahi, Deputy Governor of Ebonyi State and the PDP Gubernatorial Flag Bearer for the 2015 elections, flagged off the campaigns, and then followed speeches and expressions of unflinching support by the political generals. There were also those who announced that they had decamped to the PDP from other parties. Chief Ikeuwa Omebeh, former Chairman of Ezza North Local Govt Council, who had contested the APC senatorial primary, was also present. Also present was Hon Jerry Obasi of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly.
