ECKINGTON IS COUNTING DOWN TO CHRISTMAS WITH THE TOWN TEAM. Eckington Town Team is a group of local businesses and residents who want to regenerate Eckington town centre. Plans for Christmas are well underway. Look out for events on Fridays and Saturdays throughout December, including Santa’s Grotto in the town centre and a festive Snowman Trail in the shops. Friday 6th December – See the Christmas tree lights switch on at teatime in the town centre. Shops and cafes will be open until 7pm and there will be seasonal surprises in store! Do the Snowman Trail. Dress up as a snowman and you could win a prize! Residents keen to decorate outside their houses are invited to join in the snowman theme to spread the festive fun through the town and surrounding villages in the parish.
