ECONOMIC COST AWARDS 2014/2015 The Ministry of Education, Human Resource Development & Labour is inviting applications for Economic Cost Awards for new and continuing students at the UWI Campuses, for the academic year 2014/2015. To be eligible for an award, an applicant must meet the following criteria: 1.be a citizen of Saint Lucia; 2.has either gained acceptance to, or is enrolled at any of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Campuses; and 3.area of study must be listed on the “Government of Saint Lucia List of Approved Areas for National Training”, which can be accessed on the Government of Saint Lucia’s website: govt.lc If an applicant is already enrolled at UWI, an official transcript of grades is required. The Government Scholarship Application Form can also be obtained on the Government website stated above. The deadline date for the receipt of completed Application Forms by the HRD Department, is Friday June 27, 2014.
