ECZ THE BALL IS YOURS ---------------------------------- ECZ has advised that no one should celebrate yet. Two things that are so obvious are that EL is leading for now, and HH is trailing but the Commission has agreed that their irregularities and as time goes by the regularities are becoming gross from negligible with discovery of more errors in results. The big question is: will the Commission stand up for moral integrate to rectify results so that they produce credible election results or will they sustain a victory with fraud or erroneous results? Indeed the mandate of declaring the winner is upto the commission based on results that are credible else the winner would have been declared discretionary out side results that are credible. If the commission would take time to rectify all discrepancies before declaring the winner that would be the right and just thing to do so that the end of this all process is credible and strengthens our democracy and moral obligation as a Christian Nation. Above all Zambia, would have produced the presidency that is legitimate between the two leading contestants EL and HH regardless of who wins after rectification of anomalies. However the window of hope to clean up results discrepancies is still there and lies in the hands of the Commission its upto the commission to clean up before declaring winner or deliberately go ahead and declare the winner without cleaning up. I would love to see a cleaner process so that we do not say (TIA) This is Africa it is the responsibility of Africans to better organize ourselves morally and democratically. Its a pit observers prematurely declared the process as being free and fair indeed the election was free but not yet fair with matters arising. Its good luck to both President Lungu and President Hichilema may credible results declare the winner. Love you all you have an equal share of support by the Zambian people and you are all sons of our soil. However any declaration of winner by ECZ must be respected regardless.
