EDDIE MURPHY or RICHARD PRYOR? Of course, were conditioned to automatically say Rich. And depending on the day Im liable to say either one. Rich opened many of Eddies doors, which is expected because his career started 1st. Rich also had more of a underlying message in his comedy. Career resume wise, I think Eddie surpasses Rich. Stand Up concert wise Rich surpasses Eddie because he had way more product out. But the funny of each of their DVDs is arguably equal. Delirious & Raw tends to make me laugh more frequently than many of Richs. Rich was like Dr. J. Eddie was like Jordan. Eddie Murphy is that dude though! Check his resume!
