EE National Human Resource Development Manager Meadowdale R450 000 Per annum CTC A well-established National Retail Market leader in automotive/parts sector with the Head Office based in East Rand Meadowdale area is seeking an experienced and qualified HRD Manager (Human Resource/Development Manager) to provide overall operational support and direction in respect of the full HR function within the relevant service area. The service provided should be aligned with the organisational growth requirements, ensuring that best practice is followed at all times. The HR/Development Manager will implement, drive and monitor HR solutions, which meet organisational/internal requirements. The successful candidate must have: • Tertiary professional qualification in HRM/HRD HR Degree • 3 - 5 years HR Development and Organisational Development experience • Computer literacy (Advanced Excel and Word) • Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills, including the ability to effectively coach leaders, build relationships and leverage resources within the function and across the organization to advance business strategy • Excellent written & oral communication skills with the ability to influence all levels of the organization; effectively gains agreement and consensus for ideas • Ability to work effectively in an environment of change and ambiguity • Demonstrates excellent skills in leadership, integration, facilitation, complex problem solving, negotiation and conflict resolution • Has experience in implementation of BEE and Employment Equity processes • Strong numeracy skills • Experience with workplace skills plans, SETAs, • Preferably experience in the motor industry Duties and Responsibilities: Employment Equity • Appointed as the company’s Equity Manager in terms of the Employment Equity Act with the responsibility to ensure that the Employment Equity Act is complied with in full. • Submit the Employment Equity Plans within specified timeframes to the Labour Department. • Consult and give input into development of employment equity plans. • Identify employment Equity quota requirements and advise on status of compliance to targets. • EE Plan implemented across the business. • Progress on plan monitored and communicated to the business • Consultative support provided to the business • Best practice researched and implemented • Measure adherence and delivery in accordance with agreed Transformation strategy, EE skills developments targets • Compiling workplace EE plans and reporting for EXCO • Managing all EE meetings for the organisation Skills Development • Identify training /skills / competency needs within the organisation. • Coordinate career development, succession planning and talent management needs in partnership with line management. • Identify skills shortages and where there is need to improve and inform management • Compiling and submitting the annual workplace skills plan (WSP) and the (ATR) within the prescribed time frame • Interacting with SETA to obtain grants from the skills levy • Discretionary Grants Application on quarterly basis • Implementation of Learnerships Strategy Implementation • HR strategic initiatives implemented across allocated business units • Support provided to business units in respect of new strategic initiatives • Implement key human capital strategies aligned with business objectives • Partner with managers to initiate and implement optimal organization structure and drive culture and engagement • Ensure diversity & inclusion initiatives are integrated into all HR activities & policies • Partner with business managers to: • Leverage corporate talent management and development programs to build colleagues skills and competencies in alignment with business strategies • Act as coach and business partner to leaders and business teams Organisational Effectiveness • Performance Management System implemented, monitored and maintained across allocated business units • Succession planning processes implemented, monitored and maintained • Talent planning implemented and monitored • Retention strategies implemented and monitored • Induction programmes delivered to the organisation Operational Support • Generalist support and expertise provided to the organisation Performance Management • Manage the company performance management process. • Custodian of effective performance management practices. • Implement performance management / talent management initiatives. • Ensure that performance management is standardised. • Monitoring, evaluating and reporting results. Change Management • Lead programs that are aimed at improving employee morale. • Identify and analyse current organisational effectiveness. • Implement Employee surveys.
