EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION:A WORKING TOOL IN MARRIAGE RELATIONSHIP. Communication is a process of transferring information from one person to another with both parties having a good understanding of the message being passed across.Communication can be of two type.Verbal and Non Verbal.Verbal Communication has to do with sound.The tool used basically for this skill is the voice.Non verbal method of communication has to with the use of listening skills and body languages.The body language involves some major parts of the body,and these includes; Eye and Brow,Facial Gesture(mouth). Effective Communication is a working tool in a marriage relationship or in any meaningful relationship.For effective communication to exist,the partner should be able to understand and have a common language spoken by both.Also for effective communication to exist.The couples should learn not to be selfish about themselves.Selfishness kills communication and lack of communication destroys marriage.One way to enhance effective communication is not being selfish.That is being selflessness.This is a stepping stone to effective communication in marriage or in any relationship.One partner should not only likes what he or she likes only but rather cherish what the other likes.For instance,if your husband likes watching football or watching action movies,what the wife should do is to likes and develops interest in watching football and action movies too.Also if your wife likes watching romantic movies ,then as a husband try to develop interest in watching it too,and hence likes it as well.By so doing you are creating a common grounds for effective communication,thereby reducing communication gap and barriers.Communication gap exist as a result of not having a common grounds for discussion.Another things selflessness does is that it brings understanding.Also not knowing the right time and mode for particular discussion,and not giving listening ear also make communication ineffective. Above all selflessness is stepping stone for effective communication.Also effective communication is working tool in a marriage relationship or in any relationship.
