EGYPT LIVEABOARD It’s time to ask for your Christmas presents and this year I recommend you an Egyptian liveaboard diving adventure. For the newly qualified and the trainees, the Red Sea is the most desired destination for any European diver and it’s a must see. The trip will be suitable for Ocean Divers so it’s open to anyone. What: full board liveaboard on My Mermaid I. Two to four guided dives a day in nice, shorts-warm and clear water full of colourful fish (think of Finding Nemo). Free Nitrox and Al cylinders included. Starting from Hurghada to the very nice area around Safaga, then to Elphinstone and the region of Marsa Alam and then transfer back to Hurghada. When: 4-11 September 2015 How much: 625 euros (about £520) for the boat Flights: Most of us will be flying from Manchester with Monarch. Currently a return ticket is £300 and you’ll have to book this yourself. There is some possibility to book as a group if everyone chooses to fly from Manchester. DO NOT book flights before we confirm the boat. Extras: You’ll need to pay for an Egyptian visa (25 euros), marine resort fee (20 euros), diving insurance and get to Manchester (or wherever you choose to fly from). Please check the visa requirements if you aren’t a British citizen. Total cost: it depends on exchange rates, flights and insurance but be prepared to splash out nearly £1000. Not cheap but remember this is an all-inclusive holiday at peak season at the most desired diving location. How do I get a place: You can book your place by paying a deposit of £200 on the link below. This must be done by the 3th of December and there are only 16 places on the boat. The balance will be paid in Egypt in cash. Don’t forget that flights will be your responsibility too. Deposits will be refunded only in the unlikely event of the trip failing. Any questions, please ask. This is going to be THE trip! Niko
