EGYPTIAN OFFICIAL MEETS FOREIGN AMBASSADORS ON TECHNICAL COOPERATION Cairo - 01/11/2013 (MENA) Secretary General of the Egyptian Fund for Technical Cooperation with the Commonwealth, Ambassador Mohamed Khayrat, held a meeting Thursday with ambassadors of Afghanistan, Armenia, Magnolia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Belarus to discuss the funds plans. He also met with ambassadors of Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Albania. The meeting tackled means of boosting relations and cooperation with the foreign diplomats. They also discussed the possibility of integrating the African and commonwealth funds together under the umbrella of an initiative announced by Egypts Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy. The initiative aims at establishing Egyptian agency of partnership for development which is supposed to provide support in the domains of sustainable development and human resources. The ambassadors underlined their support for Egypt during transition to democracy.
