EID SANS EID! .Streets are boozing, the rush is growing. Roads look slumpery & ds jam packed visual gives a dead civilized smile! We might have got genes from indus people but we have never inherited their character.. Dy were full of clean ideology, pure nature and absolute planning./ lavishness; one-sided spending, culture & ds unique pattern of craziness in the form of eid-rush that thro years has come to connotate eid-inflation, where things surge & fall in a day.../ Absolute stupidity in ds kashmir phenomenon is that you cant restrict thy budgets if thy neighbours are spending over budget.This is not eid, which was a celebration of certain piousity nd islamic rulings and history. Our ds form is a mere formality; full of packages like telecommunications have, misnomer of happy states like our hearts, violating islamic norms like our brothers in middle east, inflating ordinary rates like share markets, elevating class/caste divide like hinduism and copying western lavishness. In any form or relevance, this doesnt equalise eid terminolgy. Recast, rethink, relook and review before u buy clothes, bakeries, jewellery, gadgets etc that defeats our purpose of eid. Sacrifices need to be universal and full of faith like our fore fathers. And for that, first thing we require is to sacrifice our illogical desires or restricting them to minimum... Let us renew our faith, let us renew our soul ds eid!
