EJ rides his bike to school, through a tiny, but prestigious little neighborhood. Because its not cold, he decided to wear a zippered hoodie. As he took his bike out I ran to the door and yelled for him to stop! I then said Baby, I know its a little cool today, but dont put your hood on, okay? His little face seemed to ponder at why I would rush to make such a request, but he gave me a quick kiss on the cheek & simply said, Okay Mom! I watched him until I couldnt see him anymore. My neighbor, a sweet older lady that sits on her porch everyday, with her cat, ironically named Skittles, that I love having for a neighbor because shes so nosy LOL, looked at me and said softly, Im sorry honey.
