ELDERLY LADY’S DOG BRUTALLY KILLED Yesterday afternoon, Leo, - TopicsExpress

ELDERLY LADY’S DOG BRUTALLY KILLED Yesterday afternoon, Leo, the little terrier dog owned by Phyllis and walked down the road every day, was brutally killed in Ansley Road. Phyllis’s daughter had just returned home with the dog in the car and as she opened the door Leo made a dash towards a man walking along the pavement. The man, disturbed by the dogs barking and behaviour, allegedly kicked little Leo three times. The last kick lifting him up and depositing the dog in the road. Leo was immediately hit and fatally injured by the passing car who failed to stop. The equally heartless karate kicking pedestrian ignored the cries of the whelping dog and the tears of the young lady, Phyllis’ daughter and walked on without a care in the world. Phillis had saved little Leo twice. Once by taking him on after his first owner died and then by paying for extensive treatment when the dog was quite poorly. She was at the church at the time taking part in an event so she is devastated by this savage attack on her dog. Do speak to her when you see her and offer your condolences as Leo like all pet dogs was part of this elderly lady’ family. Perhaps the RSPCA will deal with the heartless pedestrian.
