ELECTION AND ADVERTISEMENTS ON TELEVISION Well we usually change channels during breaks so as to skip advertisements. However when Elections are round the corner, Advertisement of Political parties attracts more interest than the speeches of their leaders. The same are of two types -serious or humorous. A party is reaching upto voters through Marathi folk dance or songs. The same party makes an emotional appeal when their activists helps the one in need and informs the name of political party on being asked their name. Another party is using excerpts of the speech of their National leader at foreign land . The characters from various walks of life in another Advertisements of that Political Organization are too ANGRY and are wanting to know WHERE THE STATE OF MAHARASHTRA IS ???? Later voters are assured of change which they have bought in other states if voted to power. Another State level political outfit is assured of making dreams come true of the people of Maharashtra and this is being reached upto masses through visuals of 1-2 seconds. The parties who were in Power is informing voters about the development they have bought through videos specifically composed for the job. To SURPRISE voters , politicians and Officers, a former head of Government is shown SIGNING some file . And to be little aggressive they have advertisements wherein they held opposition responsible for spoiling the States image by misusing various sources of Communication and Information technology. What is far different from all the above mentioned ways of advertising is - Honey Singh rapping for a political party whose National President has just surrendered in Tihar jail.
