Hope to see you guys there! As you know, we have many positions opening up for this fall on our executive board. Here are a few of the opening positions and there descriptions: President: The president has a great deal of responsibility. Any candidate must be prepared to spend time planning and coordinating events. In addition, they must coordinate team meetings, transportation, volunteer events if needed and any other responsibilities that may arise through the course of the year. For this position, we are looking for someone who has great leadership, organizational skills, is creative and charismatic. Vice President: Is the right hand man to the president and carries most of the same responsibilities if not all. For this position we are looking for the same qualities as the president due to roles being identical. Treasurer: This position works very closely with the vice president and president. This position will require the elected individual to create a budget and work with the rest of the E-board to decide on how to efficiently use the team’s money. For this position, we are looking for someone who is great with money, resourceful, honest, and responsible. Secretary: This position is responsible for communication with the team. This person will be responsible for using the [email protected] email to communicate the club members. Additionally, should post to the facebook to keep members updated. Should keep in close contact with the webmaster to help keep the msu.edu/~sics site up to date. We are looking for a flexible yet hard-working individual that is timely. Member Recruiter: Is in charge of all recruiting efforts. Must manage students to help get the word out about SICS club. Must design any poster/fliers for upcoming meetings and events.
