ELECTIONS SITUATION REPORT: I was at Awka Road/Anyaeji polling booth, Onitsha North, Ward 9. PU:04/17/09/008. INEC vehicle dropped two non Igbo corpers @ 10:am with the documents that suppose to represent them bearing Igbo names(first fraud). Accreditation commenced a shortwhile thereafter, while voting started by 1:pm. Around 2:pm, two hoodlums came to disrupt the election, because of the absence of security(second fraud), because elections were not going on in thier own areas as they claimed. They were overpowered and simmered down by the electorate, but as they were leaving angrily, they threatened to reiforce and come back. The woman APGA agent in the booth called another APGA agent called Chiboy, another APGA agent, who called the police. A truck loaded with policemen arrived the scene after a shortwhile. Thier leader dropped his phone number and left without leaving behind a police despite the pleadings of APC agent that he should not leave that area unprotected, because of the hoodlums, who threatened to come back, but all such pleas fell on deaf ears(third fraud). When the results were about to be counted; the APC agent demanded that the police be called back, but the APGA agent refused(fourth fraud). So as the votes were being counted and it remaind just about only 3 votes in the transperent ballot box, about six gunmen returned in a marauding manner and made away with the result sheets and unsed ballot papers, while people ran helter-skelter for thier dear lives includind the unprotected corps members(fifth fraud). After the incidence, the APC agent pleaded with the corpers to write the result on another paper, which will be duely signed by the agents of the parties around, while a comprehensive report on the incidence will be attached to the result, but APGA and PDP agents vehementely refused, because APC was clearly on the lead(sixth fraud). But be it as it may, the results were as follows: APC - 37. APGA -27. PDP - 4. LABOUR PARTY - 2. ACP - 2.
