The Noble Walk is scheduled on 10th August 2013. We will commence from Uhuru Park – opposite the Nairobi Serena Hotel at 8am. We kindly request you to support and to participate on Walk. The Ivory Belongs to Elephants Campaign is a Walk that aims to educate people about the value of Wildlife with emphasis on Elephants Conservation in Kenya. The main objectives of the noble walk are to create awareness on the dangers of poaching to our economy and to engage the local communities in establishing the best approaches to reduce human – wildlife conflict. Mr. Jim Nyamu, a Scientist with 16 years’ experience of studying elephants in Kenya and Africa has for the better part of the year traversed Kenya and covered 2,200 km on foot and passed through more than 20 Counties talking with Local Communities on the Importance of our Elephants, Rhinos and other Wild Animals Alive and emphasizing on the need NOT to BUY IVORY PRODUCTS. The walk will start from Uhuru Park at 8am; proceed through Globe Cinema Roundabout, Kamukunji, Jogoo Road, Eastleigh, Pangani and end up at the National Museums of Kenya – where we will have speeches from Dignitaries, Professionals and Conservationists.
